What is soolantra?
Soolantra is a prescription cream for the treatment of papulopustusolen Rosacea – the form with red papules and pustules in the face. The active ingredient Ivermectin is an antiparasitic agent which additionally has anti-inflammatory properties.
Rosacea is a chronic skin disease with redness, extended owls and inflammatory lesions on the face. Soolantra acts specifically against inflammatory changes (papels, pustules), not against redness alone.
The cream is applied once a day and shows first improvements after 2-4 weeks.
