What is Lenzetto?
Lenzetto is a transdermal estradiol spray for the treatment of alternating-year complaints. It is the only available estrogen spray therapy and offers a practical alternative to tablets, gels and plasters.
The spray is sprayed once a day on the forearm. The estradiol is absorbed via the skin and passes directly into the bloodstream without passing the gastrointestinal tract (no first pass effect in the liver).
Women with intact uterus must also take a gestagen (e.g. Famenita).
